Introducing Our New Trauma-Informed Yoga Offering

Nov 17, 2025 | Uncategorized

At Emerge, we’re always exploring ways to support healing through the mind-body connection. We’re thrilled to introduce a new Trauma-Informed Yoga class, designed to help you reconnect with your body, cultivate compassion, and build community through gentle, mindful movement.

This 90-minute in-person class is a gently guided, choose-your-own-adventure experience. An open invitation to explore what feels right for you. Each session begins with a brief group check-in, followed by about an hour of movement, and ends with a closing reflection. Together, we’ll create space for awareness, connection, and care.

Throughout class, you’ll have the option to explore:

  • Mantra and breathwork

  • Meditation and parts work

  • Free movement and chakra work

  • Journaling and yoga poses

All elements are optional, allowing you to engage in a way that honors your unique needs and energy. Supportive props like bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps are available to help you find comfort and grounding throughout the practice.

As a trauma-informed yoga teacher, Una Setia invites students to get curious about their own strengths and challenges, offering multiple options throughout class to foster choice and agency. Her teaching intention is simple yet profound:

“To help people cultivate a stronger and kinder mind-body connection. I love encouraging those who practice with me to find their own embodiment and empowerment through movement, and to build trust in their own intuition.”

-Una Setia

Join us as we explore what it means to move, feel, and connect together.

Details:

  • When: Mondays

  • Length: 90 minutes

  • Cost: $25 drop-in | $90 four-class pass

Come as you are. Take what works for you, and let go of what doesn’t.

Una Setia, Registered Yoga Teacher

As a trauma-informed yoga teacher, I invite my students to get curious about their unique challenges and strengths by offering multiple options in my classes. My intention as a yoga teacher is to invite people to cultivate a stronger and kinder mind-body connection to build greater self-awareness.
