Join Us for Fall Training at Emerge Therapy
Emerge Therapy is excited to announce a series of transformative training sessions this fall, designed to enhance your skills and deepen your understanding of therapeutic practices. We have spots remaining for Part 1 our in-person Attachment Intensive as well as virtual spots for Part 2 and Trauma Through an Analytic Lens. We are also offering a discounted price to members of Minnesota-based psychoanalytic societies (e.g. MPSI, MICPP, MPCSWA).
Our fall training lineup includes:
Trauma Through an Analytic Lens with Johanna Dobrich
9/13-12/05, 10:30am-11:45am
CEU Credits: 12.5
Cost: $300
This course will explore the importance of detecting, deciphering, and working with the manifestations of trauma in a psychodynamic context. “We will think together psychoanalytically about the developmental trajectory of exposure to trauma, among and within, different relational contexts. We will examine how co-regulation, modulation of shame, and building a scaffolding for affect tolerance may allow traumatized patients to access psychoanalytic treatment without being retraumatized. We will also consider how cultural forces/institutions can ameliorate and exacerbate the adverse effects of trauma.”
Part 1: Attachment Intensive with Orit Epstein
10/25-10/26, 10am-4pm
CEU Credits: 10
Cost: $350
This two-day intensive will deepen your understanding of Bowlby’s attachment framework, including the implications of separation, loss, and mourning and how these concepts manifest across the lifespan. We will explore the insights gained from the Adult Attachment Interview (Main et al) and how to utilize this frame to deepen insights and transformation.
Part 2: Attachment Through the LifeSpan with Orit Epstein
11/1-12/6, 9am-10:15am
CEU Credits: 6.25
Cost: $150
The 5 weeks following the intensive course will explore case material and further elaborate ways early experience shapes adult personality and interpersonal solutions.
Each training is crafted to offer valuable insights, practical tools, and opportunities for professional growth. Whether you’re a seasoned therapist or just starting out, these sessions are designed to support your journey and expand your expertise. Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to seeing you at our fall trainings and working together to foster a stronger, more informed therapeutic community.
