I often work with people who want to go deeper than the surface and create lasting change for themselves, their lives, and the world. This type of deep work takes time and space, but it is so worth it. My practice focuses on creating a warm and welcoming environment that encourages you to bring your full self, whatever that may look like in the moment. I have a deep respect for the therapeutic process and feel privileged to walk beside you on your journey. Slowing down and allowing space for whatever is present is not something we are often encouraged to do in our day-to-day lives, and I believe it is paramount to healing. I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered, holistic perspective and am committed to anti-oppressive practices.
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thought and also draws from many other approaches while always keeping a critical eye on social forces that may be coming into play. I am trained in Brainspotting and use my background as a yoga instructor to incorporate somatic approaches in my work as well. My areas of clinical interest include life transitions, trauma and complex trauma, identity at all stages of life, high sensitivity (HSP), stress and anxiety, relationship concerns, depression, self-worth, enmeshment, codependency, and existential crisis. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship in order for exploration, understanding, and deep healing to take root.
