Therapy is a space that should welcome the full depth of our human experience, rather than just focusing on a collection of symptoms. I offer a space for you to explore and better understand the whole spectrum of your experience: ranging from your greatest strengths and joys to your greatest challenges and pains. From a place of safety and warmth, we can begin to meet whatever it is that needs to be said, felt, expressed, or understood within you.
I draw from various therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, experiential, mindfulness-based, as well as body-centered therapies. I can incorporate any and all of these approaches if it is in service of your current process and needs. Regardless of the approach we use, I will always emphasize trust and safety.
I have experience working with a wide range of challenges such as chronic shame, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, addiction, psychosis, trauma and dissociation. I feel deeply moved by the opportunity to stand alongside anyone, regardless of identity or background, as they begin to meet aspects of themselves that feel stuck, wounded, trapped, ashamed, scared, or broken. This process takes tremendous courage, and I am committed to ensuring they feel ready for the next step, every step of the way.
