she/her/hers
Hello! I am happy you are here. I currently focus on working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, disordered eating and relationship concerns. I aim to create an environment where the client feels supported and empowered in order to explore past and present experiences. As a social worker, I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that values multiculturalism and diversity. I have experience working with individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, personality disorders and other mental health concerns. I have experience working with college-aged students in a university setting and with involuntary clients involved in the criminal justice system. Regardless of the circumstances that bring you to therapy, I am happy to help you explore and heal.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University Mankato and received my Master’s in Social work from Augsburg University. I utilize multiple theoretical approaches including Person-Centered, Psychodynamic and Feminist theory. I value therapy that empowers the client and places them in the expert role. My goal is to help you create a life that is meaningful and aligned with your values. In my free time, I love to spend time with my dog Larry, cook new foods and spend time being active outside with my family.
