TEIA KOPARI, MSW, LICSW

she/her/hers

I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the relational dynamics that often emerge alongside these experiences. Areas of particular interest are perfectionism, assertiveness, identity development, and exploring questions around meaning, direction, and authenticity. I also work with couples struggling with communication difficulties, disconnection, infidelity, and the emotional complexities of separation or divorce.

My approach is relational, warm, and insight-oriented. While I might tailor therapy to the needs of each person, my work is grounded in a relational psychodynamic perspective. I’m interested in how early attachment experiences, protective patterns, and unconscious dynamics continue to shape your present emotional life, relationships, and sense of self.

I view therapy as a collaborative and deeply human process, with two people in the room creating together a healing experience. My hope would be that you can speak openly, reflect honestly, and grow in ways that feel authentic to you. And I will bring sincerity, compassionate directness, and humor.
