Jessica Osfar is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and licensed School Counselor. She completed her Masters degree in Educational Psychology with a dual certification in School and Community Counseling. Jessica started her career as a School Counselor prior to transitioning to clinical counseling. She has experience working in two Intensive Outpatient Programs with adolescent and adult patients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Jessica has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Behavioral Activation for depression, and Exposure Response Prevention for obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety. She also completed EMDRIA’s EMDR Basic Training. Jessica completed a 4-year (1,000 hour+) Yoga Therapy program and will earn her C-IAYT in September 2022. She is currently enrolled in the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program. One of Jessica’s areas of interest is women’s issues throughout the lifespan. She is currently working with adults and offers in-person sessions.

Jessica supports clients while working through life’s challenges and encourages them to grow and change to meet their goals. In session, she may incorporate the following. Psychoeducation to further understanding. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thought and behavior patterns and establish new ones. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques to help clients learn positive coping skills. Yoga Therapy tools (breath work, movement) to improve the body-mind connection. EMDR to process traumatic experiences.
