Life can be difficult at times and finding the right support and therapist to help you navigate life’s challenges can make all the difference. For the therapeutic process to be effective, I believe it is essential to create a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to express yourself and be you. In session, I provide a quiet listening ear and an open space for you to explore and share your thoughts and feelings. With curiosity and care, I provide support while we unfold past and present experiences and process their impact and meaning. During your therapeutic journey, we will identify conscious and unconscious thought and behavior patterns that are no longer serving you and with time create more authentic ones. I will encourage you as you gain awareness, insight, learn and grow. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, holistic and eclectic. I view therapy as a process with multiple components tailored to meet your unique needs.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT).  I have experience working in a variety of counseling settings and levels of care with children, adolescents, and adults.  My clinical experience includes working with a wide range of concerns including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Behavior Activation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Yoga Therapy.  Currently, I am enrolled in the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute’s Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program.  Women’s issues across the lifespan is one of my areas of special interest. I am currently working with adults and provide in-person sessions.

In my freetime I enjoy practicing Yoga, being outside in nature, walking around the lakes, landscaping, reading, watching movies, or spending time with friends and family.
