Dr. Sherry Walling is a licensed clinical psychologist in Minnesota (LP6048) and California (PSY #22926). She is also the co-host of the ZenFounder podcast and co-founder of the ZenFounder consultancy. Her life’s work is to help high-performing professionals meet their vocational potential while also maintaining life satisfaction, personal well-being, and a deep connection to personal values.

Dr. Walling is particularly skilled at working with leaders who have high-intensity jobs: entrepreneurs, executives, physicians, pastors, psychologists, and other professionals who are feeling ineffective and disconnected. She helps people work through burnout, anxiety, existential angst, interpersonal, conflicts, adverse childhood experiences, major transitions, and personal balance.

Sherry is a graduate of the University of California, Davis and Fuller School of Psychology. She has a PhD in clinical psychology and two master’s degrees. In addition, she completed year-long residential research fellowships at Yale University School of Medicine and the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder affiliated with Boston University School of Medicine (where she was also a teaching fellow). She has held faculty appointments in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, at the California School of Professional Psychology, and Fresno Pacific University.

Sherry loves to creatively integrate spirituality, yoga, culture, poetry, and art into the therapy process. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) and an instructor of aerial yoga.

Dr. Walling is set-up to provide remote clinical services for individuals who are not able to attend a session in the office. She use a secure “virtual” office to provide web-based therapy to Californians and Minnesotans. Depending on the clinical situation, therapy can happen wherever you are- in the privacy of your office or home.
